Let the state worry about finding money to build a new facility for a private corporation after it has found money to pay for infrastructure, education, & health care.
The people of this state have paid more than their fair share of taxes to support this state and it's causing many of us to struggle financially. If each and every Minnesota Viking player reached into their back pockets they could easily pay for it themselves. How about everyone out there helping me out so that I can build a multi-million dollar house? Our current stadium is just fine. Make due with what you have! Not doing that is what is causing everything to collapse. LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS MINNESOTA!
Let's see, we passed a .75% addition to our sales tax, that goes to the outdoors, wetlands etc. How about we add .25% and pay for the stadium. Then turn the Metrodome over to be a state run casino. From the southern state I'm from, our gambling proceeds pay for a number of things. How come the Indian casinos don't give any money to the state?

Maybe Gov. Silver Spoon should pay for it out of his own pocket -- since he hasn't done anything since being elected.
